The Love Drive was created as a way for us to give back to our local communities while also giving our employees the chance to be part of something meaningful and heartwarming. Early this spring, we came up with a new idea to extend the reach and effectiveness of our Love Drive initiative. We wanted to include our youngest generations by the development of a lemonade stand called “Fresh Squeeze & Sweets”.

The Genesis of Fresh Squeeze & Sweets

Fresh Squeeze & Sweets was born of our recollections of being kids in the summers running lemonade stands and creating some of our favorite childhood memories. Now, we want all our children to experience that same simple joy but even more than that, we want them to learn about kindness, community and the importance of giving back.

The lemonade stand is a fun, hands-on way for the kids to participate in the Love Drive and to start understanding what it means to help others. We hope it brings smiles, sparks conversations and creates memories for a new generation.

Fresh Squeeze & Sweets Values and Goals

At every pop-up, we support a cause by either by donating proceeds to a selected charity, or by organizing a fundraiser for a local individual, family or organization in need. Whether it’s the Salvation Army, a local daycare, or an orphanage family home in Mexico, we’re committed to making a real impact, one cup of lemonade (or sweet treat) at a time.

Our community values Fresh Squeeze & Sweets not just because of what we serve, but because every dollar goes toward something meaningful. This is more than a stand, t’s a movement fueled by generosity, heart and purpose.

In some cases, we’ll be reaching out for sponsors to help cover event costs. This allows even more of the proceeds to go directly to the cause, while giving sponsors a chance to be recognized as part of something special.

We believe that when kids, families and neighbors come together for good, powerful things happen and we’re proud to be part of that.

What Fresh Squeeze & Sweets Offers

Since launching, Fresh Squeeze & Sweets has had several successful pop-up events, each one focused on giving back to a meaningful cause.

At each event, we serve a rotating selection of treats including:

• Fresh Lemonade
• Cupcakes (a fan favorite!)
• Candy on a Stick
• Rice Krispie Squares
• Kids’ Sunglasses

We’ve also completed a few custom orders for staff appreciation events and birthday parties, helping to spread our mission even further into the community. Our cupcakes have been a huge hit, with returning customers who say they can’t get enough!

The support from our community has been incredible. Every event has brought together generous, kind-hearted people eager to contribute to something good. It’s been more than just a fundraiser, it’s been a celebration of compassion, connection and community spirit.
